Georgia Release Card Information

Release the Power of Progress

How to use your new JPay Progress Card

Now that you’re released, the leftover funds on your books have been transferred to this card. You can use it for purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted or at ATMs and cashback locations. Withdrawal limits are based on the ATM's, not the card. There are unlimited transactions per card.

Making a signature-based purchase?

Go ahead! Your Progress Card is ready for immediate use as a credit card whenever you sign for a purchase.

Want to use an ATM, cash-back location, or make a PIN-based transaction?

First you’ll need to activate your card and set up a personal identification number (PIN).

Setting up/activating a PIN:

  1. Call toll -free 866-777-5729
  2. Choose a 4-digit PIN
  3. Have your 16-digit card number, expiration date, 3-digit security code on the back of the card, and your date of birth ready for verification

Once you have your PIN, you can withdraw cash from an ATM or a cash-back location like Walmart or CVS.

Which ATM should I use?

You can use any ATM, but if you want to avoid additional fees, make sure to use an ATM with the Allpoint logo. Some ATMs may only allow you to withdraw cash in increments of $20. If you want to withdraw a smaller amount, try using the cash-back option at retailers like Walmart.

Do I have to pay a fee to use my Progress Card?

Refer to the Cardholder Agreement in your JPay Progress Prepaid Mastercard card envelope which contains the entire fee schedule.

How can I check my balance?

The easiest way is to visit go.cardportal.us. You can also call 866-777-5729.
