Dozier announced the promotion of Katherine Brown to Deputy Warden of Administration at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison (GDCP) effective March 1, 2017. As Deputy Warden, Brown will be responsible for overseeing the Business Office, Property/Supply Operations, Maintenance and Food Service departments at a facility housing over 2,140 diagnostic and close security male offenders located in Jackson, GA.

“Katherine has shown great dedication in the various positions she has held with the agency,” said Commissioner Dozier. “I am confident her tenacity will help her to be a great leader in her new capacity as Deputy Warden.”

Brown began her career with the department in 2006 as a Correctional Officer at Baldwin State Prison.
