Contraband Arrest at Autry State Prison
As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,168 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state
On December 30 at Autry State Prison, security staff observed two civilians, Jeon Blackman and Adajee Hubbard, near the facility. Security staff alreted the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office who, upon arrival, discovered 4 bundles of tobacco and a bundle of marijuana. Blackman and Hubbard were arrested by the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.
