Contraband Arrest at Multiple State Prison’s
On April 23 at Autry State Prison, visitor Linda Busbee attempted to enter the facility; however, a search of her walker was found to contain contraband consisting of 1 cigarette lighter, rolling paper and an unknown amount of tobacco. Visitor Busbee was arrested by Mitchell County Sheriff's Office.
On April 22 at Georgia State Prison, visitor Samantha Szydlowski was unable to clear the metal detector in the front entry. After a search, 2 balloons that appeared to contain tobacco, were discovered on her person. Visitor Szydlowski was arrested by Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 21 at Telfair State Prison, during the search of an offender after visitation, 52 grams of methamphetamine were discovered. Visitor Helen Godwin was arrested by a GDC OPS Special Agent and transported to the Telfair County Jail.
On April 21 at Washington State Prison, visitor Jabria Ballard was unable to clear the metal detector and admitted to having 18 balloons consisting of 65.2 grams of marijuana on her person. Visitor Ballard was arrested by Washington County Sheriff’s Office and transported to Washington County Jail.
