Contraband Arrest at Rogers State Prison
As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,913 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.
On July 6 near Rogers State Prison, a traffic stop was conducted by Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office. A search of the vehicle found a bundle of unknown contraband. Civilians Donald Aughtman and Jennifer Brown-Gamill were arrested and transported to the Tattnall County Jail.
