Contraband Arrests at Multiple State Prisons
On September 18 at Calhoun State Prison, a vehicle was identified in the facility’s woodline with civilian Ricardo Martinez inside. A search of the area found a bag with tobacco, THC, and cellphones. Civilian Martinez was arrested and taken to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
On September 17 at Dodge State Prison, Officer Patricia Floyd was stopped while entering the facility due to a strong smell of marijuana coming from her person. A search found marijuana, methamphetamine, and rolling papers. A search of Officer Floyd's car was conducted where a cellphone and large amount cash was recovered. Officer Floyd was arrested and transported to jail by Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
On September 14 at Macon State Prison, a check of the facility grounds found a suspect coming out of the woods. Civilian Dedrick Sirmans was found with a drone and bundles wrapped in black tape. Dedrick Sirmans was arrested by Macon County Sheriff's Office and transported to Macon County Jail.
